Zalabí has significantly expanded the number of farms included in its UEBT verification, while renewing and maintaining the Responsibly Sourced level following a comprehensive assessment against UEBT’s environmental, social and sourcing requirements.
As a result of this strong performance, the verification has been granted for the maximum three-year validity period.
The expanded scope now covers 100% of Zalabí’s directly owned and managed production, together with its key operational facilities, including the distillery, laboratory, warehouse and offices.
This latest result builds on the strong foundation established through Zalabí’s initial verification in 2024. It reflects the continued development of the Zalabí Model: a modern and traceable production system built around good agricultural practices, and continuous improvement to sourcing with respect for people and the environment.
Since beginning operations in 2019, Zalabí has worked to demonstrate that exceptional natural ingredients and positive steps at origin can form part of the same production model.
The renewed UEBT Verification represents an important recognition of that commitment and another step forward in Zalabi’s ambition to set an example for responsibly produced essential oils.
