DESCRIPTION
Essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the flowers of Lavandula latifolia.
ORIGIN
Lavandula latifolia is native to the western Mediterranean, particularly thriving in the dry, rocky regions of Spain, where it is most abundant.
PROPERTIES
This oil obtained from the flowers is abortifacient, antibacterial, and antiseptic; it can also be used for aromatherapy purposes.
OLFACTORY PROFILE
Spike Lavender oil offers a more camphoraceous scent than Lavandula latifolia. It combines lavender’s traditional sweetness with an eucalyptus-like freshness.
APPLICATIONS
It is ideal for creating bold, aromatic fragrances that require a vibrant, yet traditional lavender note with an invigorating twist.
