Essential oil obtained by steam distillation of Lavandula hybrida var. grosso.

ORIGINE

Lavandula hybrida var. grosso is a hybrid species obtained by crossing Lavandula angustifolia (true Lavender) and Lavandula latifolia (Spike Lavender). It does not have a specific native distribution as it is not found in the wild.

PROPRIÉTÉS

This oil has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial, antiseptic and anxiolytic properties. Besides, it has toning, regenerative and healing attributes.

PROFIL OLFACTIF

Lavandula hybrida var. grosso is known for its strong, robust lavender scent and carries a camphoraceous undertone. Its aroma is more assertive than the traditional Lavandula angustifolia.

APPLICATIONS

Usually applied to give a strong lavender note, it is ideal for bold, contemporary fragrances, and its intensity makes it suitable for aromatic blends, where it can stand out against other scents.
